Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and sub-ledgers

  • Record and verify daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

  • Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts on a periodic basis

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries

  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash position reports

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws (e.g., PAYE, VAT, withholding tax) and prepare statutory returns

  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders as required

  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls

  • Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by management

Educational Requirements
  • ICA Level 2, ACCA Part 2, HND, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Membership or part qualification in ICA, ACCA, or similar professional bodies is a plus

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2–4 years experience in a similar role

Additional Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or ERP systems)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage
