Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and sub-ledgers
Record and verify daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts on a periodic basis
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash position reports
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with tax laws (e.g., PAYE, VAT, withholding tax) and prepare statutory returns
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders as required
Maintain proper filing of accounting documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls
Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by management
ICA Level 2, ACCA Part 2, HND, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Membership or part qualification in ICA, ACCA, or similar professional bodies is a plus
Minimum of 2–4 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or ERP systems)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage
